Former Tower of Power saxophonist EUGE GROOVE released his first solo album in 2000. Euge Groove’s best-known solo hits include “Sneak a Peek,” “Slam Dunk,” “Rewind,” “Don’t let me be lonely tonight,” “Livin’ Large” and “XXL.”
Groove was born Steven Eugene Grove in Hagerstown, Maryland. After graduating from the University of Miami in 1984, Groove worked as a session musician for various pop groups including Expose – a Miami girl group. In 2008, Groove toured with Tina Turner before setting off on his solo tour.
