Guitarist Carl Verheyen is best known for his work with Supertramp, for whom he played guitars, percussion, and backing vocals between 1985–1986, 1996–2002, and this past year.
In addition, the list of other artists he’s performed with includes Christina Aguilera, Bee Gees, Cher, Belinda Carlisle, Melissa Manchester, Little Richard, Dolly Parton, Glenn Frey, John Fogerty, B.B. King, Shelby Lynne, Jose Feliciano, Leanne Rimes and Miley Cyrus.
Verheyen was heard by 67,000,000 people as a featured soloist at the 2009 Academy Awards and will be heavily featured in the forthcoming film documentary about the electric guitar, “Turn It Up!” He was also voted one of the 100 Best Guitarists of All-Time by Classic Rock magazine.
He has more than 10 albums, including his latest, “Trading 8’s”, which features duets with some of the finest guitarists in the world: Joe Bonamassa, Albert Lee, Scott Henderson, Steve Morse, Rick Vito and Robben Ford.
