Timothy Bloom
R&B / Soul
Timothy Bloom was raised in his fathers Fayetteville, North Carolina church where the gospel music he heard would later influence his own music. He started playing drums, piano and guitar for the churchs band, and while he loved playing music, he yearned for rock and roll. His parents denounced non-religious music so young Bloom would steal away in his parents car to scan the car radio for Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens and Marvin Gaye.
Producing and collaborating with artists since he was 17, Bloom won a Grammy for Ne-Yos Say It. He has also worked with the legendary Smokey Robinson and has a production credit on Chris Browns new album F.A.M.E.. Blooms solo career has recently taken off with the release of the EP The Budding Rose featuring the single Til the End of Time. Fusing R&B, hip hop, country, soul and rock, Bloom brings his exciting new sound to Anthology on May 11.
