Angela Bofill returns to stage, as a profile in courage.

After two major strokes, and a six year absence, Angela Bofill returns to the stage with “The Angela Bofill Experience “ a narrative and multi media event that highlights her life and hits, which made her an international sensation in the late seventies and eighties. Narrations by Angela Bofill, beginning with anecdotes with high school sweetheart, and Grammy winner, Dave Valentin, the audience is taken through a journey of the life and music of Angela Bofill. Best known for her hits “ Angel of the Night,” “ To Tough “ ( #1 billboard 1983 ) and “ This Time I’ll be Sweeter.” the vocals, dynamically presented by Maysa, best known as the lead singer for the British group Incognito, is now enjoying a stellar career of her own, with #1 albums on billboard in 2009 and 2010. Maysa celebrates, at anthology, her new release, “ motions of love” with featured artist Stevie Wonder. Maysa’s version of “ I Try “ serves as a fitting tribute and highlights the album.

Saxophonist Marion Meadows, who Angela has known, as far back as the Norman Connors tours, will make his experience known, as a featured artist.

The show, peppered with video of Bofill’s appearances on “ The Tonight Show,” “Soul Train,” and “ The American Music Awards ” with Michael Jackson, tie in to some inside stories, and humorous anecdotes.
