Johnson is no stranger to the entertainment industry and has already accomplished many of her goals. Trina was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri where she studied Voice Performance and Theater at the UMKC Conservatory of Music.

She has appeared on such shows like The Grammy’s, Oprah, MTV Music Video Awards, BET Awards, and the American Music Awards to name a few, and has also graced the stage with great entertainers from Barbra Streisand to MC Hammer.

As a performing artist, Johnson has many film, television and theater credits under her belt as well. Appearing in projects like “Anchorman” starring Will Ferraro, “Breakin All The Rules” starring Jamie Foxx, “Bringing Down The House” starring Queen Latifah and Steve Martin, and the Off-Broadway theater productions of “Dreamgirls”, Ain’t Misbehavin”, Jesus Christ Superstar and “The Wiz”.

Johnson also performs around the globe with celebrity band “The Family Stone” as a lead vocalist. The band features rock and roll hall of fame inductees Jerry Martini, Cynthia Robinson and Greg Errico of “Sly and the Family Stone”.

And as a Celebrity Impersonator, Johnson is considered to be one of the top performers in the Tribute Artist Industry. Giving tribute to artist like Tina Turner, Whitney Houston and Diana Ross.
