Tribute to The Who
The Who Show
THE WHO SHOW captures & recreates what The Who brought music lovers back in the 60’s, 70’s & 80’s. Four Los Angeles-based musicians make up The Who Show – a tribute to the Who. The Who’s live presentation was a spectacle that inspired this talented showcase act to join forces to reproduce every nuance of The Who’s individual personalities, musical showmanship, and live unpredictability. To witness The Who Show recreate the experience of a classic Who performance is to feel as if you are experiencing the band in its powerful heyday. The Who Show covers every period of The Who’s long-running recording career, from their first hit single to the rock operas, Tommy & Quadrophenia. Late period material, You Better You Bet & Eminence Front is presented with jaw-dropping accuracy. Jim Ferguson’s high-energy performance echoes the look and sound of Roger Daltrey, The Man Behind Blue Eyes. Windmill Man Chris Propper delivers the incredible musical virtuosity, manic leaps, and windmill guitar attack of Pete Townsend while the ox Joel Pelletier supplies the flying fingers & thunderous roar of bass guitar hero John Entwistle, and drummer France DiCarlo captures the energy of the great Keith Moon.
