One of the greatest horn bands in the history of pop music, Blood, Sweat & Tears have left their mark on the American music scene since 1968. After a start in Greenwich Village, the band won world-wide acclaim with their fusion of rock, blues, pop, horns and jazz improvisation that became known as “jazz-rock”. With sales in the millions, the band has earned multiple gold albums, 10 Grammy nominations and 3 Grammy awards including Album of the Year.

Although they’ve gone through many changes, some of their standout members are Al Kooper and Jerry Fisher. They continue the tradition of showcasing the brightest talent around the world. The band has also teamed up with the Berklee College of Music in Boston to form the Elsie Monica Colomby music scholarship, a lifetime scholarship awarded yearly to a deserving student.

2005 found BS&T looking back to founding father Bobby Colomby’s original vision for Blood Sweat & Tears to “find the greatest musicians and the rest is easy”.

Since then with Bobby Colomby’s guidance BS&T have re-established themselves as one of the hottest touring acts in the world. Whether playing the hits that started BS&T’S meteoric rise or complicated Jazz riff’s audiences world wide show their appreciation with standing ovations nightly.

In 2008, the South Korean Government named Blood Sweat & Tears “The Ambasadors of Peace”. That same year the BS&T horn section recorded with Jeff Lorber on his Grammy nominated cd “He Had A Hat”.

BS&T has played 3 sold out concerts at the world famous Blue Note Jazz Club in New Your City with the Legendary trumpeter Arturo Sandoval this year.
