TAB BENOIT is a Louisiana-based blues guitarist, musician and singer, who style combines swamp blues, soul blues and Chicago blues. His 2006 recording “Brother To The Blues” was nominated for a GrammyÒ Award for Best Traditional Blues Album, although it has country roots as well.
- Benoit is active in wetlands preservation and is featured in the IMAX film, Hurricane on the Bayou.
- On May 16, 2010, Benoit was inducted into The Louisiana Music Hall Of Fame.
