Greg Laswell, a former San Diego resident and student at Point Loma Nazarene University got his music break in the San Diego-based band Shillglen, which had some success in 2000, including 400,000 downloads. He went solo in 2003 with his solo debut “Good Movie,” which won a San Diego Music Award for Best Local Recording.
