BEVERLY MCCLELLAN’S recent rise to fame was not without years of preparation. For twenty years she has performed in venues all over the country and has independently released five albums. However, her well deserved break came when she auditioned for a televised singing competition “The Voice.” Under the mentorship of Christina Aguilera, she became a break out star of the show and reached the final four.

Her musical style is raw and soulful. With a deep range and a blues/rock edge, she wows audiences with her powerful vocals. As a player of ten musical instruments, it is her vocal abilities that set her apart from the rest and make her an exciting entertainer.

“Working solo on acoustic guitar or piano, ‘The Voice’ finalist filled the room with her warmth, personality and sound. She impressed with her conviction, confidence and control of her rangy, raspy voice (she doesn’t overdo the power). Her Southern soulfulness was apparent on originals and covers (she made Led Zeppelin’s ‘Going to California’ sound like Joni Mitchell). She’s got big-time potential. – Jon Bream, Minneapolis Star-Tribune
