Phil Perry has been thrilling R&B audiences since the early 1970s when he sang with a vocal group called the Montclairs, but his biggest hit is his 1991 remake of Aretha Franklin’s “Call Me,” which hit No. 1 on the R&B charts. Along with his solo work, he has collaborated with artists like Sergio Mendes, George Duke, Bill Withers, Barbara Streisand, Johnny Mathis, Bobby Womack, Chaka Khan and Four Play to name a few.
