Louis Prima Jr.
Swing Jazz
LOUIS PRIMA JR’s goal is to carry on the legacy of his father who was known as the original, “King of Swing.” Learning to play the piano at eight years old, he was quickly becoming a virtuoso of musical instruments including drums, trumpet, and guitar.
After graduating high school, Prima set his sights on a degree in business, and it wasn’t until he hit 22 that he decided music was what he needed to do. He formed a rock band in 1987 that opened for Winger, but he eventually decided that it wasn’t the genre he wanted to be in.
In 1995, Prima decided to make a career of performing his father’s legendary music. With the help of his sister Lena, The Witnesses were born. They have crafted a show with a swinging, rocking band that their father would be proud of. Get ready to jive, Anthology!
