Tribute to Johnny Cash
John Vincent with the John Cain Orchestra
American Classics
John Vincent grew up with dreams of being a football player. He never had musical ambitions until he crooned Under My Skin like Old Blue Eyes at his sisters wedding. He realized how much he enjoyed singing in front of an audience and quit his job as a headhunter to sing at clubs in Chicago. He soon expanded his repertoire of voices to include Johnny Cash, Ray Charles and Harry Connick Jr.
He pays tribute to the musical stylings of Frank Sinatra and Johnny Cash on June 3 at Anthology.
