Formed in 2003 by co-founding members and ardent DMB fans Mike Myrdal (guitars, vocals) and Sam “Barefoot” Johnson (bass), The Dave Matthews Band Experience (Stepping Feet) is the premier tribute to the Dave Matthews Band. Voted “Best Band” in a competition with over 40 other bands, their high-energy shows and skilled musicianship have developed a strong following in the Southern California area and beyond due to their superb ability to capture the essence and excitement of a “DMB” show.

Members of the band have played internationally and even shared the stage with Blues Traveler legend John Popper. The Dave Matthews Experience (Stepping Feet) knows what it takes to put on a great show and make it their goal to astonish, amaze, and entertain the crowd from the first note to the last.

The band plays Dave’s music from his entire catalog, including some of the rarities people wish Dave would play live more often, all with perfect attention to detail. From the smoking hot violin of Jennifer “Spags” Spingola, to the killer Carter Beauford-esque chops of Kevin Dooley and the intense groove of saxophonist Dan Boisey, close your eyes and you will swear you are at a Dave Matthews show.
